Sarah is a fourth-generation farmer, but having spent 15 years away on other pursuits she is starting at the beginning. With guidance from her father, she operates a 350-acre irrigated farm, raising sugar beets, wheat, soybeans, and alfalfa, along with experimenting with hops in Sidney, Montana.
Having spent most of those 15 years as a wedding photographer, Sarah traveled around the country taking photographs at different locations. But there was always a desire to come back to the farm. Once her daughter was born, they want to raise her in a similar way on the farm became stronger. The family returned to Montana and Sarah began spending more and more time helping her dad. As he approaches retirement, she is taking on more responsibilities in the hopes to take over someday when they are both ready for that transition.
