FSMA Project Coordinator
The FSMA Project Coordinator will assist the Project Director and Training Coordinator with administrative and programmatic aspects of the Local Food Safety Collaborative to include: serving as a liaison with current and potential partner organizations; applying for agenda spots at grower conferences, assisting in reporting requirements; as well as developing agendas and providing knowledge capture at regular project meetings. In addition, the FSMA Project Coordinator would be responsible for managing the website and social media attached to the project including managing a blog calendar.
FSMA Training Coordinator
The FSMA Training Coordinator will be tasked with planning, organizing, and instructing both Produce Safety Alliance Grower Trainings, food safety field days, and shorter FSMA or food safety workshops around the country. These trainings will target small to mid-size local producers and processors including organic, sustainable, value-added, diversified, and socially disadvantaged growers who serve local markets. The FSMA Training Coordinator will work with partner organizations, state departments of agriculture, Land-Grant University personnel, Produce Safety Alliance staff and other stakeholders to organize and perform trainings as well as to perform outreach to producers.
NFU is not currently seeking interns - we will accept applications for fall internships starting in June.
