Ryan Goertzen-Regier | Kansas

Ryan Goertzen-Regier is a sixth-generation farmer from South-Central Kansas. He has been running Sugargrove Apiaries, a small beekeeping operation, since 2016, as well as working part-time for his father and uncle on the family farm. He also works an off-farm job in Information Technologies. Ryan graduated from college with a degree in social work, and has interest in agriculture policy, creating healthy communities, and cultivating opportunities for others to get into agriculture. Ryan currently serves on the board of the Kansas Farmers Union and recently helped establish the Central Kansas Young Farmers Coalition, a chapter of the National Young Farmers Coalition. Ryan hopes to continue to diversify what he produces alongside his wife Miriam and her farm endeavors.
