Joey Ploeckelman was raised on his parents’ dairy farm in North Central Wisconsin, where they started the farm from scratch with several generations of dairy and farming history. He has developed the herd into registered Holsteins and Brown Swiss that he is part owner of. With a Bachelors of Science in dairy science from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls, Joey aspires to start his own grass-based dairy with registered dairy cattle in a multispecies system based on cow health and nutrient-dense milk and meat while maintaining labor-efficient facilities.
