Deanne Boyer grew up at Willow Run Farm, a farm first purchased by her grandfather and later farmed by her father. In 2015, she began farming with her father and worked to transition 40 acres of their land from cropland to pasture with the help of NRCS. Using skills from her first career as a librarian, Deanne markets grass-fed beef and pastured eggs directly to local customers. She currently manages a herd of Black Angus cattle and a small flock of chickens on pasture. Deanne has also recently added a small group of pastured pigs to her grazing system and hopes to raise a larger pig herd in the future.
