Caitlin Hladky is third generation on her family’s Colorado farm, growing corn, alfalfa and grass hay and raising an all natural, grass fed herd of Pinzgauer & Angus cross cattle. She graduated from CSU with an Agriculture Business degree and worked for JBS, USA for 2 years in the corporate office in the finance department, as well as at one of the JBS Five Rivers Cattle Feeding 100,000 head feedyards doctoring cattle every weekend. She now works with an agriculture company in Greeley, Colorado providing regulatory compliance consulting services to large CAFOs. She is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of monitoring and reporting on-site environmental compliance information for more than 50 producers in the dairy, feedlot, and poultry industries. Caitlin still works every day on the Hladky family’s 160 acre farm growing crops and raising cattle. She has plans to establish her own herds of natural and conventional cattle and direct market to local grocery stores in northern Colorado.
