As education director for the National Farmers Union, Emma Lindberg assists in the planning, scheduling, and implementation of youth and adult education programs and events.
Prior to working for NFU, Lindberg was the Outreach Associate for the Society for Neuroscience and a volunteer high school teacher in Oxnard, California. During her time with the Society for Neuroscience, Lindberg coordinated a variety of public facing educational events and created teacher lesson plans for their website BrainFacts.org.
Before emigrating to the United States, Lindberg’s grandparents owned a small farm in Sweden. Their appreciation for agriculture helped form Lindberg’s interest in family farming.
