As communications director for National Farmers Union, Andrew Jerome oversees development and implementation of the organization’s communication-related strategies, including media relations, event planning and coverage, state division communication coordination, publication distribution, digital media management and member outreach.
Prior to his employment with NFU, Jerome worked in the office of former U.S. Senator Christopher “Kit” Bond, radio station DC101, online sports publication WV MetroNews, and several nonprofits organizations in the state of West Virginia.
Growing up, Jerome lived on a family-owned tobacco and cattle farm in southern Maryland. He graduated from West Virginia University in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism with an emphasis on public relations and American politics and policy.
