As executive assistant for National Farmers Union, Alexis Dunnum is responsible for the management of NFU’s relationships with external entities and the oversight of administrative functions in the office.
Prior to employment, Dunnum spent the summer of 2016 as NFU’s communications intern. She also held an internship with the University of Wisconsin-Madison Office of Sustainability, where she focused her efforts on creating a marketing strategy to reduce food waste in university buildings.
Dunnum grew up on her family’s fourth generation organic crops and grass-fed beef farm in southwestern Wisconsin. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2017 with degrees in Life Sciences Communication and Scandinavian Studies, with a minor in Environmental Studies.
