Jennifer Ghigiarelli | Colorado
Jen Ghigiarelli is a livestock farmer in her sixth full-time season, originally from Pennsylvania though currently calling Colorado home. While specializing in multi-species rotational grazing systems, Jen has also done work in dairy, annual vegetable production, permaculture, and tree/perennial systems. She sees agriculture at its finest when it is integrative in approach and supportive of the greater ecology around it. Jen is currently happily managing animals (cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, layers, and broilers) on a 113-acre property for an environmental non-profit. In the future, she dreams of implementing silvopasture projects towards her never ending goal of building healthy soils and sequestering carbon through food production.
