Elliot grew up in Durango, Colorado on a small hay farm, and in the summers, he worked on his uncle’s potato/grain/alfalfa farm located in the San Luis Valley, CO. Elliot spent as much time in the mountains as he could grow up, being amazed at the flux of the seasons and diversity of species growing. Elliot studied Agricultural Systems Management and Forestry and Natural Resource Management at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo CA. During that time, Elliot lived at a permaculture house which was a safe haven for people who actively embodied holistic and healing lifestyles and management practices. Elliot now lives on a 350-acre ranch in Antonito CO where he aspires to cultivate an abundance of healing foods and medicine while regenerating the landscape.
