Elliott grew up in Durango, Colorado on a small hay farm, and in the summers, he worked on his uncle’s potato/grain/alfalfa farm located in the San Luis Valley, CO. Elliott spent as much time in the mountains as he could growing up, being amazed at the flux of the seasons and diversity of species growing. Elliott studied Agricultural Systems Management and Forestry and Natural Resource Management at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo, CA. During that time, Elliott lived at a permaculture house which was a safe haven for people who actively embodied holistic and healing lifestyles and management practices. Elliott now lives on a 350-acre ranch in Antonito, CO, where he aspires to cultivate an abundance of healing foods and medicine while regenerating the landscape.
