WASHINGTON – National Farmers Union (NFU) concluded the 2025 All-States Leadership Summit, held in Washington, D.C., and released the names of the newly elected members to serve on the National Youth Advisory Council (NYAC).
Ruby Sheaffer, a member of Wisconsin Farmers Union; Larahmy Blakley, a member of Oklahoma Farmers Union; and Patrick Olson, Madi Raymond, and Brandon Toennies, members of South Dakota Farmers Union, will serve one-year terms on NFU’s NYAC.
“NFU was proud to welcome the next generation of farmers and policy leaders to Washington, a program first for the All-States Leadership Summit,” said NFU President Rob Larew. “Our NYAC represents the future of family farming, ranching and rural advocacy. Their voices, ideas and energy are vital to shaping a stronger future for agriculture, and we are thrilled to have them serve in this role in the year ahead.”
The NYAC is selected each year at the All-States Leadership Summit through a competitive application process to represent thousands of Farmers Union youth from across the country. The NYAC works closely with education staff to provide support during NFU’s Annual Convention, help plan the next All-States Leadership Summit, and complete leadership projects in their states.
All-States Leadership Summit brings students and young adults from across the country to network and learn from agricultural industry professionals. Participants were guided through an immersive educational experience centered around topics including policy advocacy, professional development, and leadership.
Registration for the 2026 All-States Leadership Summit will open in February 2026. For more information on this year’s All-States, visit the NFU website at www.nfu.org/allstates.
