Jim Dula received his BA in Geography from the University of Texas at Austin in 2012 and moved to Aspen, CO to pursue a love for the mountains and food. While at UT, Jimmy focused studies on soil biogeochemistry, plant-fungal interactions and sustainable agriculture. In 2012, he founded Colorado Soil Systems, an organic landscape management consulting company. He is also President of Glassier Gardens, a 14-acre shared land use cooperative in Basalt, CO and Project Manager for the Heritage Fruit Tree Project. Jimmy is working to cultivate a fruit tree nursery, gooseberries, rhubarb, onions and a variety of medicinal herbs for market.
