NFU: Listening to Producers Across the Country

Wednesday, August 23rd, 2006

NFU is continuing our Farm Bill Listening Sessions. So far, we’ve visited Texas, Illinois, South Dakota, Ohio, Wisconsin, Colorado, Utah and California this morning.

The events have all been a great sucess, with producers turning out to voice their opinions on what they would like to see in the next farm bill. Topics of discussion have included disaster assistance, cuts to the farm safety net, dairy policy, conservation, trade, competition and marketing their products to consumers.

Listening sessions are coming up in Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska and South Dakota. We hope you will join us!
