Collegiate Farmers Union Chapters

NFU is proud to have collegiate chapters in several states. The young people involved have shown their leadership qualities along with their desire for meaning and effective advocacy in their lives.

As the chapters are formed and become recognized by their respective colleges they are able to hold fundraisers, events and actively recruit members.

Farmers Union Collegiate Chapters include:

  • Colorado State University – Fort Collins
  • Iowa State University – Ames
  • University of Missouri – Columbia
  • Montana State University – Bozeman (unofficial chapter)
  • University of Montana – Missoula (unofficial chapter)
  • University of Mary – Bismarck State College (North Dakota)
  • University of North Dakota – Grand Forks
  • North Dakota State University/Minnesota State University Moorhead – Fargo/Moorhead
  • North Dakota State College of Science – Wahpeton
  • Ohio Collegiate Chapter - All Colleges and Universities
  • South Dakota State University – Brookings

Collegiate Leadership Conferences are held every few years for students interested in activism and learning more about how Farmers Union conducts its legislative and government relations activities.

National Farmers Union also helps keep collegiate members connected through its Facebook.com and MySpace.com groups. End
